So, I'm Jérôme, drummer for over 30 years.

I am originally from Bayonne in the Basque Country and I am fascinated by the sound of vintage drums.

I spent hours listening to legendary rock drummers, like Keith Moon, John Bonham, Roger Taylor and Ginger Baker. I was amazed by their energy, their virtuosity, and their unique sound.

Some time ago, I decided to start a small business buying and selling vintage and used drums. I called the shop "Uste Gabea Drum House", which means "unexpected" in Basque.

This name is a reference to the name of the house where I set up my workshop. It's an old Basque house that needs a little love and attention, just like the batteries I sell.

I'm always looking for new gems. I spend my weekends in flea markets and garage sales, and my evenings on classified ads sites. I'm always happy to find a rare drum set or iconic model.
